It was not until he was in his early twenties that Mark came to saving faith by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. God used Dannielle to call Mark to Himself, and in the Lord's divine providence they were baptized together on the eve of their wedding.

Prior to pursuing vocational ministry, Mark worked in public education for nearly ten years, first as a mathematics teacher and then as a professional development provider. It was during that time in which the Lord grew Mark's love for teaching, nurtured his love for counseling both students and adults, and placed a desire in his heart to pursue pastoral ministry.

Today, Mark serves Portville Baptist Church as a bi-vocational pastor, and he is also pursuing a Master of Divinity at Central Baptist Theological Seminary.
